Zero Conference 2026 at the United Nations

Project Conference 2026 (#ZeroCon26) on Accessibility, ICT, and Crisis Response.

Following on from speaking at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna last year, I’ve been invited to this year’s Zero Conference!

This year, with the Zero Project Awardees and their innovative solutions front and center, #ZeroCon26 will bring together over 1,000 innovators, practitioners, policymakers, business leaders, self-representatives, and other experts from around the world, making it a unique global meeting place for disability innovation.

his year’s focus is on Accessibility, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Crisis Response. Sessions will revolve around the Zero Project Awardees 2026, alongside contributions from opinion leaders, policymakers, thematic experts, and representatives of the global disability inclusion community.

Agenda highlights include:

Inclusive crisis response frameworks: showcasing innovative solutions using mobile cash, data collection, and training frontline workers to ensure dignity, coordination, and protection.

Clubs, stadiums, federations: football for all. This session showcases how football clubs, stadiums, and federations embed accessibility into infrastructure, fan engagement, and governance frameworks.

Award Ceremony: Celebrate this year’s Zero Project Awardees, selected for their innovation, impact, and scalability through an extensive multi-step process involving 400+ experts and 350+ hours of review.
